Red and Green Toy Soldier Drummer Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-27-N01867A

Strike up the band with the Red and Green Toy Soldier Drummer, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a drummer in a black top hat with a gold crest and a green jewel, a white beard under a curled black moustache, and a red coat with green collar, gold epaulettes and gold braid. He plays a red-and-white drum with gold drumsticks, with dark green trousers trimmed in gold and black boots on a red base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: the drummer marched at the front of the toy soldier parade in The Nutcracker, and collectors say his beat on Christmas Eve wakes the toys for their midnight adventure.

Why this nutcracker: if you want the traditional red and green look, he is the classic Christmas drummer in a handy middle size. At about 12 inches he works on a mantel, a sideboard or among a group of taller nutcrackers.

In the box: one Red and Green Toy Soldier Drummer nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a drum, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Build the full regiment with the axe soldier, the king and the sword soldier (F07AM9-27-N01867B, C and D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Traditional red and green Christmas decor, and a classic gift for drummers and nutcracker collectors.
