Stitch Paint by Threads, a cross stitch kit with a printed background by RTO — tall, colourful gabled houses in orange, yellow and pink stand on an old town square, with a blue vintage scooter parked in front. Part of the picture is printed on the fabric like a watercolour sketch, and you stitch the rest in just 5 colours of DMC stranded cotton on white Linda evenweave.

A little stitcher's folklore: painting your house a bright colour was said to help sailors and travellers find their way home. Stitchers say this scooter always knows the way.

Why this kit: if you want a quick, stylish result, the printed background means less stitching and a lovely sketchbook look. A fun gift for travellers and scooter fans.

Kit includes: white Zweigart Linda evenweave (100% cotton) with the sketch-style background printed on it, DMC stranded cotton in 5 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the parts marked on the chart, following the printed outlines. The printed watercolour background stays as it is, so your stitching comes to life on top.

Finished size: 15×21 cm (5.91×8.27 in). A stylish sketchbook picture to frame and a quick handmade gift.
