Stitch Bedtime Story, a mini counted cross stitch kit by RTO — the silhouette of a hare is filled with a deep blue starry night sky, with a tiny red house and little fir trees tucked inside. Worked in 8 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 14-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: people once saw a hare in the full moon instead of a man, and a hare at bedtime was said to carry children off to sweet dreams. Stitchers say this one tells the best bedtime stories.

Why this kit: if you love magical, cosy designs, this little starry hare is quick and simple — perfect for beginners. A sweet nursery or Christmas gift, and a pair with RTO's Bedtime Story squirrel.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 8 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the deep blue night first, leaving space for the stars and the glowing moon. Finish with the tiny red house and the green fir trees.

Finished size: 8×9.5 cm (3.15×3.74 in). A magical little picture to frame and a quick handmade gift.
