Stitch Pickup Truck, a wooden cross stitch magnet kit by RTO — a sunny yellow pickup truck loaded high with brown moving boxes, stitched straight through the pre-drilled holes of a truck-shaped plywood form. Worked in 10 colours of DMC stranded cotton.
A little stitcher's folklore: a new home is said to be blessed when the first box is carried in with a smile. Stitchers say this truck is delivering good luck to a new address.
Why this kit: if you want a quick, useful project, this magnet is a fun, easy make — no fabric or hoop needed. A perfect housewarming or moving-day gift, and a great first kit for kids.
Kit includes: a perforated plywood shape with pre-drilled stitching holes, DMC stranded cotton in 10 colours, a needle, magnetic tape, a colour chart and instructions. No fabric or hoop needed.
Follow the colour chart and stitch the yellow truck first, then the boxes and wheels. Add the magnetic tape to the back when finished.
Finished size: 8.4×5.6 cm (3.31×2.2 in). A cheerful fridge magnet and a fun housewarming gift.
