Cozy Cottage Living Room DIY Miniature House Kit 8 in by Wizardi F07M5-13-8008-A

A peaked-roof cottage sitting room with floral wallpaper: a cream sofa piled with green check cushions, a white fireplace mantel with a little banner and a stack of logs, a red dresser with painted plates and jars, a teal rug under the coffee table, and a ceiling fan and table lamp glowing warmly. A white dog sits by a small suitcase, and the porch door hangs a green wreath beside a window box of flowers.

A little crafter's folklore: country folk say a wreath on the door welcomes friends in all year round, and miniaturists like to hang one on every little house they build.

Why this kit: if you love cosy country interiors, this living room is full of homely detail in a manageable size, with warm lights.

In the box: pre-cut wooden pieces, wallpaper and fabric pieces, miniature furniture and finely detailed accessories, built-in LED lights, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Not included: batteries, glue and scissors.

Part of a cottage room series in the same peaked-roof shell: the Summer Terrace Bedroom, Cozy Cottage Living Room and Christmas Cottage Living Room line up into a little country house on a shelf. Build tip: fit and glue the wall panels into the shell first, add wallpaper and fabric before the furniture, place the smallest accessories with tweezers, and wire in the lights last.

Size: 21 x 12.5 x 14.5 cm (8.3 x 4.9 x 5.7 in). A warm shelf display and a gift for anyone who loves cottage style. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
