I received this pretty needle threader and quickly put it into use. It is a bit more substantial than my past needled threaders, and I like that the size will make it harder to lose (the fate of several needle threaders past). Despite the substantial, and comfortable size of the wooden part, the hook fits nicely into the needle I am using for embroidery. I think I am using a size 9. It doesn't fit quite so readily through the eye as a wire does, but it also doesn't feel like it will easily pull out of the holder (the fate of my most recent needle threader). So, all around, I highly recommend for beauty, findability, and utility.
