Geometric string art is curve stitching: in the 1800s the mathematician Mary Everest Boole showed children that straight lines of thread, run from point to point in order, build perfect curves. Set the nails in one sitting and wind the thread over an evening or two. The nails are small and sharp, so keep the kit away from young children.
