Gingerbread House Baker Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 10 in by Wizardi F07AM9-13-XC4617B

Serve up something sweet with the Gingerbread House Baker, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a jolly baker in a hat shaped like a chocolate cupcake topped with frosting and berries, a fluffy white beard, and a green jacket decorated with peppermint swirls. He holds a candy-striped tray with a little gingerbread house and a frosted treat, with a green-and-red skirt, white trousers and black boots on a green base.

A little collector's folklore: building gingerbread houses became a Christmas tradition after the story of Hansel and Gretel, and collectors say this baker always has one ready for unexpected guests.

Why this nutcracker: if you love baking or gingerbread decor, he is a sweet, playful change from the soldier. The tiny gingerbread house is full of charm, and at about 10 inches he fits a kitchen counter, shelf or dessert table.

In the box: one Gingerbread House Baker nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect the other treats in the series — peppermint, cookie tray and candy cane (F07AM9-13-XC4617A, C and D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 25 cm tall (9.8 in). Christmas kitchen and bakery decor, and a sweet gift for bakers and gingerbread lovers.
