An Adorable Jack Russell Starry Sky Paint by Numbers Kit by Ideyka KHO6596

Paint a Jack Russell terrier sitting before a swirling starry night sky with a cypress. An Adorable Jack Russell is a paint by numbers kit for adults by Ideyka, printed on a natural canvas that is already stretched over a wooden frame, so you can start painting the moment you open the box.

A little painter's folklore: painters of old portraits often tucked a dog at the sitter's feet to show faithfulness, a tradition that turned dogs into one of art's best-loved subjects.

Why this kit: if you want a screen-free way to unwind after a busy day, it is the kind of project you can pick up for twenty minutes or a whole rainy afternoon, and every session adds visible progress. With 22 colors it is a satisfying project for beginners and experienced painters alike.

In the box: a pre-printed natural canvas on a wooden stretcher with gallery-wrapped edges, 22 numbered acrylic paints, nylon art brushes, a color reference sheet with the numbered outline, a checklist and step-by-step instructions. Made in Ukraine. Not included: a cup of water, paper towels and a varnish if you want a glossy finish.

How to paint: work in good light, choose one color and fill every shape with that number before moving on, and give fine details a second coat once the first is dry. Keep the pots tightly closed between sessions and wash the brushes with water as you go. When the paint is dry the canvas is ready to hang as it is, no frame needed; the colors of the finished painting may differ slightly from the photo.

Size: 40 x 50 cm (15.7 x 19.7 in). It looks right at home in a living room, an entryway or a home office, and makes a thoughtful gift for a dog lover.
