Burgundy King with Ruby Scepter Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-24-N01866D

Bring royal grandeur to the season with the Burgundy King, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a king in a gold crown with a red dome and green jewels, a long white beard under a black moustache, and a burgundy jacket covered in gold braid over a navy vest. He holds a tall gold scepter topped with a ruby-red orb, with burgundy trousers, gold-trimmed black boots and a burgundy base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: the king is the head of the nutcracker household and, in the old tale, he guarded the family from mischief all year, and collectors say every collection needs one king to keep order.

Why this nutcracker: if you love a rich, traditional look, burgundy, navy and gold feel warm and elegant against a green tree. At 15 inches he is a commanding centrepiece for a mantel or entry table.

In the box: one Burgundy King nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a scepter, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Complete the royal series with the soldier, the royal guard and the royal drummer (F07AM9-24-N01866A, B and C). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Traditional Christmas mantel decor, and a regal gift for nutcracker collectors.
