A farmyard scene of a rooster with a blue-green tail, a white hen, speckled hens, and a small chick among green grass and pink and yellow wildflowers.

Why this kit: stitched on linen-colored 16 count Aida for a warm, rustic look; Preciosa beads add accents to the flowers; everything needed to finish is in the box, from pre-selected DMC floss to a digital copy of the chart.

Kit includes: 100% cotton 16 count Aida in natural linen color, 100% cotton DMC floss in 31 colors, Preciosa beads, a Pony needle, a black-and-white printed chart with the backstitch shown in color, and a digital copy of the pattern. Finished size: 22x16 cm (8.66x6.3 in). Made in Ukraine.

The design is stitched by counting from the chart: each symbol marks one cross stitch in a specific floss color, worked square by square across the Aida, with the backstitch details and Preciosa beads added last to sharpen the picture.
