Rows of stylized orange and yellow pumpkins and gourds with curling green vines fill a sampler-style layout on dark navy Aida, finished with a pumpkin border.

Why this kit: a folk-sampler look with repeating motifs that are relaxing to stitch; only 7 DMC colors on dark blue 16 count Aida; everything needed to finish is in the box, from pre-selected DMC floss to a digital copy of the chart.

Kit includes: 100% cotton 16 count Aida in dark blue, 100% cotton DMC floss in 7 colors, a Pony needle, a black-and-white printed chart with the backstitch shown in color, and a digital copy of the pattern. Finished size: 14x14 cm (5.51x5.51 in). Made in Ukraine.

The design is stitched by counting from the chart: each symbol marks one cross stitch in a specific floss color, worked square by square across the Aida, with the backstitch details added last to sharpen the picture.

A quick autumn project that suits beginners and a cheerful seasonal gift.
