Why this kit: an expressive horse portrait with a stylized, windswept mane; worked on colored 14 count Aida, so the background is left unstitched; everything needed to finish is in the box, from pre-selected DMC floss to a digital copy of the chart.
Kit includes: 100% cotton 14 count Aida in a colored shade (DMC 3325), 100% cotton DMC floss in 24 colors, a Pony needle, a black-and-white printed chart with the backstitch shown in color, and a digital copy of the pattern. Finished size: 25x33 cm (9.84x12.99 in). Made in Ukraine.
The design is stitched by counting from the chart: each symbol marks one cross stitch in a specific floss color, worked square by square across the Aida, with the backstitch details added last to sharpen the picture.
