Stitch Sunset Landscape, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a tall pine tree stands beside a calm lake, under a vivid sky of pink, purple and orange sunset clouds reflected in the water. Worked in 38 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: a lone pine by the water was said to guard the lake and everyone who rested beside it. Stitchers say this one watches over the sunset.

Why this kit: if you love bold colour and lakeside scenes, this vivid sunset is a joy to stitch. A lovely gift for nature lovers, and a set with RTO's other sunset kits.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 38 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the tall pine tree, then the lake and its reflections. Finish with the colourful sunset clouds.

Finished size: 13.5×19 cm (5.31×7.48 in). A vivid sunset picture to frame and a lovely handmade gift.
