Stitch Everything Seems Upside Down, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a ginger cat leans down to drink from a rain puddle by a city railing, and the puddle shows its reflection upside down. Worked in 35 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: looking at your reflection in a puddle after rain was said to show you the world the right way up again. Stitchers say this cat sees it clearly.

Why this kit: if you love cats and clever designs, this reflection scene is charming and satisfying to stitch. A lovely gift for ginger cat owners.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 35 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the ginger cat's fur and face, then the pavement and railing. Finish with the upside-down reflection in the water.

Finished size: 10×17.5 cm (3.94×6.89 in). A clever cat picture to frame and a lovely gift for cat lovers.
