Stitch Catographer, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a vintage film camera in shades of grey and silver has a lens that reveals a curious green cat's eye peering out. Worked in 20 colours of DMC stranded cotton on grey Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: cats were said to see things people can't, so a cat behind the lens would catch every hidden moment. Stitchers say this one never misses a shot.

Why this kit: if you love cats and photography, this witty camera design is a clever, quick stitch. A perfect gift for photographers and cat lovers.

Kit includes: 14-count grey Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 20 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the green cat eye inside the lens, then the lens rings. Finish with the grey and silver camera body.

Finished size: 17.5×13 cm (6.89×5.12 in). A witty picture to frame and a perfect gift for cat-loving photographers.
