Stitch Bathed in Sunlight, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — tall purple and blue lupins fill a meadow as bright sun rays burst over the hills and pine trees, under a soft lilac sky. Worked in 37 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: lupins were said to bloom best where the sun shines longest, bringing warmth and good fortune to the land. Stitchers say this meadow is always sunny.

Why this kit: if you love wildflower meadows and glowing light, this lupin scene is fresh and uplifting to stitch. A lovely gift for gardeners and nature lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 37 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the purple and blue lupin spikes, then the green leaves. Finish with the sun rays, the hills, the pines and the lilac sky.

Finished size: 19×23 cm (7.48×9.06 in). A sunny meadow picture to frame and a lovely handmade gift.
