Stitch Pink Bliss, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a lush bunch of soft pink roses and buds with fresh green leaves, painted in a loose watercolour style that fades gently into the white fabric. Worked in 44 colours of DMC stranded cotton for delicate, blended petals.

A little stitcher's folklore: pink roses have long been the flowers of gratitude, admiration and gentle love. Old tradition says a rose kept in the home keeps its happiness in bloom. Stitchers say these never lose a petal.

Why this kit: if you love romantic florals, this watercolour bouquet is a soft, beautiful stitch that looks like a painting when finished. A lovely gift for Mother's Day, weddings and anyone who loves roses.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 44 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the deepest pinks at the centre of each rose, then work outward to the palest petals. Add the leaves and buds last, letting the watercolour edges fade into the fabric.

Finished size: 25×31.5 cm (9.84×12.4 in). A romantic floral picture to frame and a heartfelt handmade gift.
