Stitch Hydrangea Bouquet, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a lush bouquet of pink, blue and purple hydrangea heads with fresh green leaves, tied with a natural twine bow. Worked in 32 colours of DMC stranded cotton on white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: hydrangeas stand for heartfelt gratitude, and a bouquet of them was given to say "thank you for understanding". Stitchers say this bunch says thank you beautifully.

Why this kit: if you love romantic florals, this hydrangea bouquet is soft, full and satisfying to stitch. A lovely thank-you gift, and perfect for Mother's Day.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 32 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch each hydrangea head in turn, working the darker petals first, then the leaves and stems. Finish with the twine bow.

Finished size: 20×21.5 cm (7.87×8.46 in). A lush floral picture to frame and a heartfelt thank-you gift.
