Stitch Warmth in Palms, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a tiny brown baby rabbit snuggles into a soft knitted cloth, held safely in a pair of gentle cupped hands drawn in fine lines. Worked in 15 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.
A little stitcher's folklore: holding a baby animal was said to bring kindness and luck into your life, and the rabbit has always been a symbol of new beginnings. Stitchers say this one is a reminder of the gentlest kind of love.
Why this kit: if you love tender, heart-warming designs, this little bunny is quick to stitch and full of feeling. A beautiful gift for a new baby, a nursery, or anyone who rescues animals.
Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 15 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.
Start with the bunny's face and ears, then the knitted cloth. Finish with the fine outlines of the hands.
Finished size: 12×17 cm (4.72×6.69 in). A tender little picture to frame and a heartfelt handmade gift.
