Stitch Fluffy Observer, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a fluffy ginger kitten with huge, bright blue eyes peeks curiously out between weathered grey wooden boards. Worked in 28 colours of DMC stranded cotton on white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: a ginger kitten turning up at your door was said to bring luck and warmth to the whole house. Stitchers say this one sees everything — and approves.

Why this kit: if you love kittens, this blue-eyed ginger is irresistible and a satisfying, detailed stitch. A great gift for cat owners and kids' rooms.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 28 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the bright blue eyes and pink nose, then build up the ginger fur and whiskers. Finish with the grey wooden boards around the kitten.

Finished size: 18×18 cm (7.09×7.09 in). A charming kitten portrait to frame and a lovely gift for cat lovers.
