Stitch On the Dandelion's Parachute, a small counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a little red ladybird clings to a single dandelion seed, its fine white parachute threads fanning out as it floats away on the breeze. With just 9 colours of DMC stranded cotton on soft grey Aida, it's simple and charming.

A little stitcher's folklore: a ladybird landing on you is one of the oldest lucky signs, and blowing a dandelion clock sends a wish into the wind. Stitchers say this ladybird is carrying yours.

Why this kit: if you love small, meaningful designs, this wish-and-luck ladybird is a quick, easy stitch. A sweet good-luck gift for a new job, an exam or a new adventure.

Kit includes: 14-count grey Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 9 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red and black ladybird, then stitch the dandelion seed. Finish with the long white parachute threads.

Finished size: 11×12.5 cm (4.33×4.92 in). A small good-luck picture for a mini frame and a sweet handmade gift.

I love the scene and already know where I want to put this. I just have to stitch it first. The kit came in perfect condition with all components.
