Stitch Cat, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a sleek black cat with bright yellow-green eyes and a tail held high strolls confidently over big, icy-blue 3D letters spelling CAT, all set on bold red fabric. Worked in 19 colours of DMC stranded cotton on red Aida, so the background is already done.

A little stitcher's folklore: a black cat crossing your path is lucky in Britain and Japan, and sailors kept one aboard to bring them safely home. Stitchers say this one walks straight into good fortune.
