Stitch Skywatcher, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a sweet blue-grey bear with rosy cheeks and starry navy wings sits on a fluffy cloud reading a book, with a little ladder leaning up to it and tiny stars hanging from the sky. Worked in 27 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said that every child has a little guardian in the clouds who watches the stars and keeps bad dreams away. Stitchers say this bear is reading bedtime stories to the sky.

Why this kit: if you love whimsical, dreamy designs, this starry bear is perfect for a nursery or child's room. A sweet gift for a new baby, and a pair with RTO's Sparking the Stars.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 27 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the bear's face and wings, then the book. Finish with the cloud, the ladder and the little hanging stars.

Finished size: 16.5×22.5 cm (6.5×8.86 in). A dreamy nursery picture to frame and a sweet handmade gift.
