Stitch Ginger Reflection, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a ginger fox dozes on a pale rock above still water, where its reflection shimmers among floating orange and golden autumn leaves. Worked in 42 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: in old tales the fox is the cleverest creature of the forest, and seeing one sleeping peacefully was a sign that all was well at home. Stitchers say this one is dreaming of autumn.

Why this kit: if you love foxes and rich autumn colour, this painterly design is a rewarding stitch full of warm tones and watery reflections. A beautiful gift for nature lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 42 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the fox's orange fur and sleepy face, then the rock. Finish with the leaves and the rippling reflection in the water, blending the colours as you go.

Finished size: 22×29.5 cm (8.66×11.61 in). A glowing autumn picture to frame and a memorable gift for fox lovers.

Beautiful, easy to do
Pretty colors and easy directions. There are enough colors for variety, yet not so many as to make the kit difficult to do.
