Stitch Geranium on the Window Sill, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a fluffy striped cat's tail sweeps a potted red geranium straight off the sill, with soil flying through the air. A funny, action-packed moment every cat owner knows. Worked in 34 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: people say a cat that knocks things over is clearing away bad luck — even if it's your favourite plant. Stitchers say this one is just helping.

Why this kit: if you have a cat (or a clumsy one), this cheeky scene will make you smile every time. A great, funny gift for cat owners and plant lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 34 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red geranium and the falling pot, then the flying soil. Finish with the long striped tail sweeping across the fabric.

Finished size: 28×18 cm (11.02×7.09 in). A funny cat picture to frame and a gift every cat owner will understand.
