Stitch In the Moment, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a single ripe orange cloudberry glows among broad green leaves and fine northern grasses and herbs. Worked in 29 colours of DMC stranded cotton on beige Aida for a warm, natural background.

A little stitcher's folklore: in the North, cloudberries are so precious they're called the gold of the marshes, and finding a ripe one was lucky indeed. Stitchers say this one is worth its weight in gold.

Why this kit: if you love botanical designs and Scandinavian nature, this cloudberry is small, fresh and relaxing to stitch. A lovely gift for foragers and nature lovers, and part of RTO's In the Moment series.

Kit includes: 16-count beige Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 29 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the orange cloudberry, then the broad green leaves. Finish with the fine grasses and herbs.

Finished size: 12×17.5 cm (4.72×6.89 in). A fresh little botanical picture to frame and a quick handmade gift.
