Stitch Moon Path, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — tall pines frame a view across a wide, silvery northern lake, with grey boulders and bright orange autumn shrubs on the rocky shore. Worked in 51 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: the silver path of moonlight on a lake was said to be a road for wishes, and whatever you wished while it lasted would come true. Stitchers say this shore is the best place to make one.

Why this kit: if you love northern lakes and forests, this detailed shoreline is a rewarding, calming stitch. A lovely gift for cabin homes and nature lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 51 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the pine trunks and branches, then the grey boulders and orange shrubs. Finish with the wide silvery lake and the sky.

Finished size: 28.5×20.5 cm (11.22×8.07 in). A peaceful lakeside picture to frame and a memorable handmade gift.
