Stitch Sky Reflection, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — two red canoes rest on a still lake that mirrors tall green pines, bright autumn trees and a pink and blue sky. Worked in 40 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 14-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: paddling out on a still lake at dawn was said to be the best way to hear what the forest has to say. Stitchers say these canoes are ready for the next trip.

Why this kit: if you love lakes, canoeing and bright colour, this reflective scene is cheerful and rewarding to stitch. A lovely gift for outdoor lovers and cabin homes.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 40 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red canoes, then the pines and autumn trees. Finish with the colourful reflections in the water, blending the blues and greens.

Finished size: 20.5×25 cm (8.07×9.84 in). A bright lakeside picture to frame and a lovely gift for outdoor lovers.
