Stitch Mariner's Haven, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a sunny fishing village of timber cottages with flower-filled gardens sits along a wooden jetty, with rowing boats moored below and sailing boats gliding across the blue harbour.

A little stitcher's folklore: fishermen's wives planted flowers by the harbour so the boats could spot home from far out at sea.

Why this kit: a large, detailed coastal panorama with 59 colours — a real showpiece for lovers of the sea and sailing.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 59 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one area at a time, starting with the cottages and jetty, then the boats, and finally the water and sky using the chart.

Finished size: 59×38 cm (23.2×15 in). A sweeping harbour picture for the living room and a fine gift for sailors and sea lovers.
