Book Cafe DIY Miniature House Kit 7 in by Wizardi F07AM15-3-68094

A little wooden book cafe under an arched green roof: tables and chairs set for readers, tall shelves packed with books, an armchair by the window, an arched doorway, a potted plant and a base shaped like the pages of an open book. With the light on it is the perfect rainy-day reading spot.

A little crafter's folklore: readers say a book cafe makes the afternoon disappear, and miniaturists like to leave one book open on the table.

Why this kit: if you love books but want something compact, this wooden book cafe is a sweet, affordable alternative to a book nook, with 142 pieces.

In the box: laser-cut wooden sheets for the room box and furniture, printed wall art and signs, tiny accessories, an LED light, and an illustrated instruction manual. Not included: batteries for the light, glue and small tools such as tweezers.

Part of the Miniature Scene series of compact wooden room boxes in the same footprint, so a few side by side make a little street. Build tip: build the box shell first, then the counters and shelves, and add the smallest pieces with tweezers before fitting the light. Pair it with the Corner Shop, Cosy Cabin Bedroom and Teal Balcony Coffee Shop, or the Little Village Bookstore.

Size: 19 x 15.4 x 10.6 cm (7.5 x 6.1 x 4.2 in), 142 wooden pieces. A charming bookshelf display, and a gift for book lovers. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
