Marching Band Christmas Wooden Nutcracker Ornaments 5 in Set of 4 by Wizardi F07AM9-34-N01822A

Bring a brass band to the tree with this set of four wooden nutcracker ornaments by Wizardi — classic guards in tall black busby hats and red jackets trimmed in gold, with white trousers and black boots. One plays a gold trumpet, one a French horn, one clashes gold cymbals and one rings a hand bell, each with a fluffy white beard and moustache, standing on a red base with a gold cord for hanging.

A little collector's folklore: in The Nutcracker, it is the sound of the toy soldiers' music that wakes Clara on Christmas Eve, and collectors say a band on the tree announces Christmas morning before anyone else is up. Hang them near the top so the whole house can hear.

Why this set: if you love the traditional red-and-black nutcracker look, this is the classic royal band in miniature. Every figure carries a different instrument, so they read as a real band rather than four copies, and the set is small enough for a tabletop tree yet bold enough to stand out on a big one.

In the box: four painted wooden nutcracker ornaments with white faux-fur beards, each with a gold hanging cord and red base, packed in a red gift box. Decorative ornaments, not for cracking nuts. Ready to hang, no assembly needed.

Hang them together on one branch so the band plays as a group, line them up along the mantel or a bookshelf, or add them to a Christmas village scene. Dust with a soft, dry brush and store in the box after the holidays. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 12.5 cm tall each (5 in). Classic Christmas tree and mantel decor, and a festive gift for musicians, band members and nutcracker collectors.
