Make Van Gogh's Wheatfield with Crows, a 3D paper tole art kit by Wizardi: golden wheat fields split by winding paths, a stormy deep blue sky and a flight of black crows rise in layers of printed card, finished in a white frame.

A little crafter's folklore: this was one of Van Gogh's last paintings, made in the fields around Auvers in the summer of 1890.

Why this kit: if you love dramatic landscapes, the layered wheat and sky give this picture real movement.

In the box: printed card sheets with every layer of the picture, adhesive foam pads for building depth, a white frame with a fold-out easel stand, and instructions. Not included: a craft knife or scissors for trimming.

How to make: cut out each layer and build the picture up from the background, raising each layer on foam pads so the scene gains real depth. Slip the finished picture into the frame and stand it on a desk, shelf or mantel.
