Stitch Sleeping Fawn, a counted cross stitch cushion kit by Luca-S — a spotted fawn curls up peacefully in the soft grass, its big dark eyes half open, on natural linen-look evenweave.

A little stitcher's folklore: it was said that a fawn sleeping near the house brings gentle dreams to everyone inside.

Why this kit: a tender woodland design with 38 colours that turns into a handmade cushion.

Kit includes: 25-count natural Zweigart Fein-Floba evenweave for a 40×40 cm cushion, Anchor 100% cotton threads in 38 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. The cushion pad is not included.

Stitch over two threads of the evenweave, starting with the fawn's eye and nose, then the spotted coat, and finish with the grass.

Design size: 22×22 cm (8.7×8.7 in). Made up into a 40×40 cm cushion, it's lovely for a nursery or reading nook and a heartfelt gift.
