Build a pink rose bush, a mini building block plant kit by Wizardi: a full bouquet of eight rich pink roses, each with a layered petal spiral and a darker pink centre, is set among olive-green leaves in a rust-orange pot.

A little builder's folklore: a bush full of pink roses is said to bring gratitude and joy, a thank you that keeps on blooming.

Why this kit: if you want a full rose bouquet in a tiny pot, the eight blooms give this one more density than a single-stem rose.

In the box: ABS building bricks for the plant and its little rust-orange pot, and an illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet. Not included: glue or tools, because none are needed.

How to build and display: press the bricks together by hand following the numbered steps, starting with the pot and finishing with the leaves and flowers. It is a quick, relaxing build for one evening; collect the series and line the pots up on a windowsill or desk, and they never need watering.

A cheerful little gift for a plant lover, a coworker or a teacher, a stocking stuffer, and a calm screen-free hobby for adults and teens. Recommended for ages 14 and up; small parts, keep away from young children.
