Build a haworthia cooperi, a mini building block plant kit by Wizardi: translucent teal-blue leaf pieces radiate in a star-like burst like the little light windows of the real plant, and a curved stem rises to a small white flower, in a rounded terracotta pot.

A little builder's folklore: haworthias are said to capture the light in their leaves and share it with the home, bringing a little sparkle to dark corners.

Why this kit: if you like clever details, the clear bricks let light pass through the leaves just like the real succulent.

In the box: ABS building bricks for the plant and its little rust-orange pot, and an illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet. Not included: glue or tools, because none are needed.

How to build and display: press the bricks together by hand following the numbered steps, starting with the pot and finishing with the leaves and flowers. It is a quick, relaxing build for one evening; collect the series and line the pots up on a windowsill or desk, and they never need watering.

A cheerful little gift for a plant lover, a coworker or a teacher, a stocking stuffer, and a calm screen-free hobby for adults and teens. Recommended for ages 14 and up; small parts, keep away from young children.
