Build red roses, a building block flower kit by Wizardi: three deep red roses in full bloom with golden centres and one closed bud rise on green stems with pointed leaves from a rust-orange pot.

A little builder's folklore: the red rose has been the flower of love for centuries, and roses that never fade are said to promise a love that lasts.

Why this kit: if you want a romantic gift that lasts, these red roses are perfect for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.

In the box: ABS building bricks for the flowers, stems, leaves and the terracotta-style pot, and an illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet. Not included: glue or tools, because none are needed.

How to build and display: press the bricks together by hand following the numbered steps, building the terracotta-style pot first, then the stems, leaves and blooms. It stands about 8 inches tall, just right for a desk, bookshelf or windowsill, and never needs watering.

Size: about 10 x 10 x 20 cm (3.9 x 3.9 x 7.9 in). 344 pieces. A lasting flower gift for mom, a friend, a teacher or a coworker, and a calm screen-free hobby for adults and teens. Recommended for ages 14 and up; small parts, keep away from young children.

The quality of the item itself was good, and it matched with the one I bought too. However, the box it came in was a bit dented in spots
