Tulip Bouquet Quilling Greeting Card Kit by Wizardi F07M3-5-FL10

Quill a tulip bouquet card, a quilling greeting card kit by Wizardi: cup-shaped tulips in red, deep red, pink and peach built from layered curved petals, on dark green stems with rolled leaves, tied with a peach ribbon bow beside a Happy Birthday greeting.

A little crafter's folklore: in old Holland a bunch of tulips was a sign of perfect love, and spring tulips still say I am thinking of you.

Why this kit: if you want a classic spring look, the mixed tulip colours make a realistic bouquet.

In the box: an A4 card of 350 gsm art paper (210 x 290 mm) printed with the line drawing and a Happy Birthday greeting, which folds into the greeting card, one envelope, pre-cut quilling paper strips in every colour you need, a quilling pen, tweezers, glue and a quilling template board for sizing coils. Not included: scissors, which help to trim strips neatly.

How to make it: wind each strip around the quilling pen into a tight coil, let it relax on the template board to the size shown, glue the end and pinch it into a petal, leaf or teardrop shape; then glue the shapes edge-down onto the printed line drawing, flower by flower, following the picture on the pack.

A relaxing paper craft for adults and teens new to quilling, and the finished card is a keepsake gift for birthdays, Mother's Day or anyone who loves flowers; it can be framed afterwards too.
