Santa Claus Christmas Quilling Kit by Wizardi F07M3-6-Santa

Quill Santa Claus, a Christmas quilling kit by Wizardi: Santa's jolly face with a red hat and white pompom, a thick curly beard and eyebrows of dense white coils, black eyes and a little red nose, on a black panel with Merry Christmas lettering, gold bells with holly, stars and snowflakes.

A little crafter's folklore: Santa's red suit and white beard come from the old stories of Saint Nicholas, the gift-giver who visited on a winter night.

Why this kit: if you love texture, Santa's curly beard gives the most three-dimensional finish in the set.

In the box: an A4 panel of 350 gsm art paper (210 x 290 mm) printed with the line drawing on a black background with the Merry Christmas lettering, pre-cut quilling paper strips in every colour you need, a quilling pen, tweezers, glue and a quilling template board for sizing coils. Not included: a frame and scissors.

How to make it: wind each strip around the quilling pen into a coil, let it open on the template board to the size you need, glue the end and pinch or loop it into shape; then glue the coils edge-down inside the printed outlines, filling one area at a time, following the finished picture on the pack.

A cosy holiday project for adults and teens, and the finished panel makes a Christmas decoration to frame or hang, or a personal gift for family and friends; make one each December as a little tradition.
