Red Crown King on Green Rocking Horse Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-32-N01860B

Gallop into Christmas with the Red Crown King on Green Rocking Horse, a wooden nutcracker by Wizardi — a king in a red glitter crown with a gold band, a fluffy white beard under a black moustache, and a red velvet cape trimmed in gold braid. He holds a gold scepter topped with a crystal as he rides a white rocking horse with a brown faux-fur mane, red reins and a gold fringed saddle, on green rockers painted with gold scrolls.

A little collector's folklore: the wooden rocking horse was one of the most treasured Christmas toys of the 1800s, and collectors say this king rides out on Christmas Eve to make sure every stocking is hung.

Why this nutcracker: if your decor is classic red and green, he brings a nostalgic toy-shop look to the season. At about 12 inches he suits a mantel, shelf or child-friendly display out of reach of little hands.

In the box: one Red Crown King on Green Rocking Horse nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur mane and beard and a fabric cape. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect the red hat soldier and the gold crown king riders in the same series (F07AM9-32-N01860A and C). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Classic red and green Christmas decor, and a nostalgic gift for collectors of vintage toys.
