Teddy Bear Royal Guard Drummer Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-15-N01009B

Meet the cuddliest guard on the shelf, the Teddy Bear Royal Guard Drummer, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a soft plush teddy bear face under a tall black faux-fur bearskin hat, a red guard jacket with gold braid and epaulettes, and a little red drum at his waist. Blue-and-white striped trousers and black boots stand on a red base.

A little collector's folklore: the teddy bear got its name from a hunting story about President Theodore Roosevelt, and within a few years every child wanted one under the tree. Collectors say this bear has joined the royal guard to keep the presents safe until Christmas morning.

Why this nutcracker: if you love teddy bears or want a nutcracker that feels warm and huggable rather than stern, he is irresistible. The real plush face and fur hat give him lovely texture, he is a perfect nursery or kids’ room decoration, and at 15 inches he makes a charming statement on a mantel.

In the box: one Teddy Bear Royal Guard Drummer nutcracker in painted wood with a plush bear face and faux-fur hat, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the Teddy Bear Trumpeter (F07AM9-15-N01009A) for a bear band, or stand him with teddy bears and red ornaments in a nursery or playroom display. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Cozy Christmas nursery and mantel decor, and a sweet gift for teddy bear lovers and nutcracker collectors.
