Teddy Bear Trumpeter Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-15-N01009A

Sound the Christmas fanfare with the Teddy Bear Trumpeter, a wooden nutcracker by Wizardi — a soft plush teddy bear face under a tall black top hat with a gold crest, a red jacket with gold epaulettes, gem buttons and a lacy white jabot, and a shiny gold trumpet held at his side. Blue trousers, white legs and black boots stand on a red base.

A little collector's folklore: in the old toy shops, a trumpet was the signal that the Christmas window had been unveiled, and children came running to see. Collectors say this bear plays the first note of Christmas morning — right before everyone races downstairs.

Why this nutcracker: if you want a nutcracker with a sweet, friendly face, the plush teddy bear makes him one of the most huggable pieces in any collection. He is lovely in a nursery or kids’ room, and at 15 inches he is a proper display piece for a mantel or hall table.

In the box: one Teddy Bear Trumpeter nutcracker in painted wood with a plush bear face and a gem-trimmed jacket, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the Teddy Bear Royal Guard Drummer (F07AM9-15-N01009B) for a bear band, or display him among teddy bears, red bows and toy-shop ornaments. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Cozy Christmas nursery and mantel decor, and a charming gift for teddy bear lovers, musicians and nutcracker collectors.
