Fleur-de-Lis Royal Guard Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-25-N01866B

Stand guard in royal style with the Fleur-de-Lis Royal Guard, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a palace guard in a navy top hat with a gold emblem, a fluffy white beard under a black moustache, and a navy jacket covered in gold lattice embroidery with red sleeves. He holds a tall gold staff topped with a fleur-de-lis, with navy trousers and black boots trimmed in gold on a red square base.

A little collector's folklore: the fleur-de-lis was the emblem of the French royal guard for centuries, and collectors say a guard carrying it keeps the household safe and full of good fortune through the new year.

Why this nutcracker: if you love a classic guard with a little more elegance, the navy and gold lattice and the fleur-de-lis staff make him stand out. At about 12 inches he fits a shelf, desk or mantel.

In the box: one Fleur-de-Lis Royal Guard nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Complete his court with the sword soldier, drummer and king (F07AM9-25-N01866A, C and D), or pair him with the 15-inch guard (F07AM9-24-N01866B). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Classic Christmas shelf and mantel decor, and a handsome gift for nutcracker collectors.
