Green Coat Halberd Soldier Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-26-N01867B

Bring a classic guard to your Christmas display with the Green Coat Halberd Soldier, a wooden nutcracker by Wizardi — a soldier in a black top hat with a red star and a gold chain, a fluffy white beard under a curled black moustache, and a green coat with a navy front, red gems and gold fringe epaulettes. He holds a tall gold halberd, with white trousers and black boots laced criss-cross in gold on a red base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: halberd-carrying guards once stood watch at palace gates throughout the winter feasts, and collectors say this soldier keeps watch by the tree all through Christmas Eve.

Why this nutcracker: if you love traditional red and green, his rich green coat makes a lovely change from the usual red soldier. At 15 inches he stands tall on a mantel or entry table, and he is also available at 12 inches.

In the box: one Green Coat Halberd Soldier nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a halberd, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Build the regiment with the drummer, the king and the swordsman (F07AM9-26-N01867A, C and D), or choose the 12 inch version (F07AM9-27-N01867B). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Traditional Christmas mantel decor, and a classic gift for nutcracker collectors.
