Red Cape Mouse King with Cheese Lance Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 14 in by Wizardi F07AM9-14-N01015B

Bring the famous villain of The Nutcracker to your display with the Red Cape Mouse King, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a grey mouse with soft faux-fur cheeks, pink ears and long whiskers, wearing a red jeweled crown, a white faux-fur collar and a green velvet jacket with gold buttons and lace cuffs under a red velvet cape trimmed in gold. He holds a lance tipped with a wedge of cheese, with white trousers and black boots on a yellow cheese wedge base.

A little collector's folklore: in The Nutcracker ballet the Mouse King leads his army against the toy soldiers at midnight on Christmas Eve, and collectors say a display is never complete until he joins the battle.

Why this nutcracker: if you love the ballet story, he is the perfect rival for your soldiers and Clara. The cheese lance and cheese wedge base add humour, and at 14 inches he is a fun conversation piece on a mantel or ballet-themed shelf.

In the box: one Red Cape Mouse King nutcracker in painted wood with faux-fur details, a fabric cape and jacket and a cheese lance. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the blue cape Mouse King (F07AM9-14-N01015A) or set him opposite your toy soldier nutcrackers. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 36 cm tall (14 in). Nutcracker ballet Christmas decor, and a playful gift for ballet fans and collectors.
