Royal King on Rocking Horse Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-33-N01096A

Bring royal nostalgia to the holidays with the Royal King on Rocking Horse, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a king in a gold glitter crown with a red dome, a fluffy white beard, and a red velvet cape trimmed with white faux fur. He holds a gold scepter as he rides a white rocking horse with a golden faux-fur mane, red reins and a white saddle cloth embroidered in gold with a little festive wreath, on red rockers trimmed in gold.

A little collector's folklore: the rocking horse was the dream gift of every Victorian child, and collectors say the king rides out on Christmas Eve to deliver the very best toys himself.

Why this nutcracker: if you love vintage toy-shop decor, a king on a rocking horse is a charming, unusual centrepiece. The velvet cape and gold details feel luxurious, and at about 12 inches he suits a mantel, sideboard or nursery shelf.

In the box: one Royal King on Rocking Horse nutcracker in painted wood with a velvet cape and faux-fur mane, trim and beard. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the soldier on rocking horse (F07AM9-33-N01096B), or the rocking horse riders series (F07AM9-32-N01860A, B and C). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Vintage toy-shop Christmas decor, and a nostalgic gift for collectors, grandparents and new families.
