Polar Bear Skier Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-4-N01026A

Hit the snowy slopes with the Polar Bear Skier, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a friendly polar bear with a soft white faux-fur head, wearing a red, green and white striped knit hat and a matching scarf over a red patterned sweater. He holds a pair of wooden skis and ski poles, with green trousers and red boots on a white base.

A little collector's folklore: polar bears are said to be Santa's neighbours at the North Pole, and collectors say this one takes the fastest ski run down to the workshop every Christmas morning.

Why this nutcracker: if you love animals, winter sports or a fun, cosy Christmas, a polar bear skier is a charming change from the classic soldier. At 15 inches he looks great in a ski lodge, cabin or kids' room.

In the box: one Polar Bear Skier nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur bear head, skis and ski poles, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect the animal nutcrackers in the series — the French bulldog soldier, the Boston terrier drummer and the royal guard bulldog (F07AM9-4-N01026B, C and D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Ski lodge and winter Christmas decor, and a fun gift for skiers and animal lovers.
