Snip with the Rose Gold Filigree Floral Vintage Embroidery Scissors, embroidery scissors by Wizardi: slim rose gold scissors with finely carved floral filigree on the shank and handles and fine pointed blades.

There is an old sewing-box custom of paying a coin when you are given scissors, so the gift never cuts the friendship; plenty of stitchers still tuck a penny into the box.

Why these scissors: if you stitch, quilt, felt or crochet, you reach for small scissors dozens of times per project, and short, sharp pointed blades let you trim floss tails and stray wool fibers right against the fabric without catching nearby stitches. The carved filigree gives a good grip, and the slim blades slip easily under a stitch.

In the box: one pair of rose gold embroidery scissors with stainless steel blades. Not included: needles, thread or project materials.

Care: use them for thread, floss, yarn and wool only, wipe the blades dry after use, keep them closed when stored, and add a drop of sewing machine oil to the pivot now and then to keep the action smooth.

A thoughtful gift for embroiderers, cross stitchers, quilters, knitters and needle felters, or a small treat for your own sewing box.
