Alpine Skier with Ski Poles Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-71-N01852C

Head for the slopes with the Alpine Skier, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a skier in a grey faux-fur trapper hat with tan ear flaps, a peaceful closed-eyed smile, a white beard, and a brown jacket with navy sleeves and a white belt. He holds a pair of gold ski poles, with white trousers and black boots on a white base.

A little collector's folklore: skiing holidays in the snowy mountains became a winter tradition more than a century ago, and collectors say this skier always takes one last run before Christmas dinner.

Why this nutcracker: if you love skiing, mountain cabins or a rustic winter look, he is a fun, unusual piece. The fur hat and earthy colours suit a lodge or chalet, and at 15 inches he stands out on a mantel.

In the box: one Alpine Skier nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur hat and beard and ski poles, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect the winter sports series with the traveler and the skier (F07AM9-71-N01852B and A). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Ski lodge and cabin Christmas decor, and a fun gift for skiers and mountain lovers.
