Stitch Snow Is Glistening, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — three cats sit on a snowy wall in front of a terrace of houses lit up for Christmas.

A little stitcher's folklore: snow looks white because each flake scatters every colour of light equally, though the ice itself is clear.

Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it is stitched on Aida printed with exclusive Wrendale background artwork, so the scene is already softly coloured before you begin.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida printed with exclusive Wrendale Designs background artwork, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, fractionals, back stitch and French knots. A frame is not included.

Stitch the cats and houses in cross stitch from the centre, add fractionals where shown, then the outlines in back stitch and the French knots.

Finished size: 25×32 cm (9.8×12.6 in). A cosy Christmas street scene from the 2026 Holiday Collection.
